Course Practice
The course will be open for familiarisation on Saturday afternoon from 4pm to 6pm, and Sunday morning from 8am – 9.30am.
Race Start Details
The race for all TP180 categories will start at 11 am after a short 10 minute briefing. The Thunder Point 180 is started on the trotting track which will give you approximately a 1km zone to sort yourself out before hitting the single track. We will ask that the riders who think they have a shot at winning the event be at the front on the start line. Riders will self seed from there. There is plenty of room on this track.
The Dirtmaster Event will start at 10am sharp. Dirtmasters need to arrive at 9:30am to register and obtain instructions prior to the race commencing. The course is flat and there are no tricky obstacles. There are plenty of opportunities for parents to watch as the riders will do multiple laps of the short course.

Please be willing to share the area, have a picnic and a chat and enjoy the atmosphere. You can up until 10.30am setup you own marquee with priority given to competitors to get close to the track, but we ask you take care to ensure they are secure and not at risk of flying with a gust of wind. Event sponsors will be also given an opportunity to setup marquees within the Race Centre.
